Individual Therapy

The one-on-one element of Lennox CMHC Inc. addiction treatment is individual therapy. Clients get the chance to recognize and consider any insights brought up during group sessions during therapy sessions in a confidential therapeutic environment.

Different therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), all within a Trauma-informed philosophy, may be used in individual sessions.

Understanding the physical, psychological, and social repercussions of trauma on the individual is the main objective of treatment in order to foster safety, cooperation, and empowerment. This paradigm takes a more sympathetic stance when addressing the person’s behavioral symptoms of trauma exposure. In this method, therapists serve as mentors to aid in the conversion of unhealthy coping mechanisms into beneficial habits.

In the end, the client’s capacity to face and question outdated beliefs and habits and implement fresh ways of thinking into their lives determines the extent of success. In order to rekindle their connection to the light that already exists within them, clients are empowered and enlightened by our therapists to delve deeply into their prior experiences.
